Contact
hello@snapvocabapp.com — for bugs, questions, billing, wrong definitions, a mnemonic that does not work, or anything else. We answer in English.
Reporting a bug
A good report saves a round trip. If you can, include:
- What you did, step by step, ending with the thing that went wrong.
- What you expected instead.
- Your phone and OS version — "iPhone 14, iOS 18.2" or "Pixel 7, Android 15".
- The app version, from Settings, and the email address on your account.
- A screenshot or a screen recording. This is worth more than the rest put together.
- Whether it happens every time or only happened once.
The app sends us no crash reports and no analytics, by design — which means we genuinely do not know a bug exists until someone tells us.
Reporting a content mistake
If a definition, an example sentence, an etymology or a mnemonic is wrong, send us the word and what is wrong with it. Content fixes ship with the data, so they do not need an app update.
Common questions
Can I download SnapVocab right now?
On Android, yes — as a beta. SnapVocab is not on Google Play or the App Store yet, but the Android beta is a direct download from snapvocabapp.com/android, with install steps. There is no iPhone build yet; join the waitlist and we will email you once, on the day it lands.
Which exams does SnapVocab cover?
GRE and SAT. Those are the two exams with a real, curated word list behind them. There is no IELTS word list, and we would rather tell you that than sell you an empty menu option.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The free tier is a real product, not a demo: the first tier of both the GRE and SAT lists, six of the word games, the first thirty meaning themes, the whole word-roots browser, every short story, Vocab Mountain, flashcards with real spaced repetition, streaks, friends and leagues. Five duel invitations a day, and accepting a duel is never capped.
Are there ads?
No. SnapVocab ships no advertising SDK on either tier, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDK either. Nothing in the app is tracking you across other apps.
Do I need an account?
An account, because your review schedule and progress live on our server rather than only on your phone — that is what lets a word you learned last month come back on the right day. You can sign in with an email address and a password, or with Google.
How do I delete my account and my data?
Email us from the address on your account and we will delete the account and the data stored with it. The full list of what is removed, and what is not, is on the account deletion page.
